Try living with five roommates.
One is extremely obnoxious. Whenever you’re working on something important, he goes out of his way to interrupt your focus or break your concentration.
Another blames everyone else for her problems and never takes responsibility for anything. She spends most of her time criticizing and insulting other people because she thinks it makes her look clever or superior.
The other three tend to follow her lead instead of thinking for themselves, which only adds to the frustration.
They call themselves “the punks,” and honestly, the name fits.
Now imagine living in a house full of aging, constantly complaining, never-satisfied people. Passive-aggressive comments become part of everyday life. Small, unimportant issues somehow turn into constant criticism and tension.
The atmosphere is exhausting. Instead of feeling comfortable in your own home, you feel watched, judged, and emotionally drained.
And on top of all that, imagine trying to manage your mental health. I am astonished I am able to write this right now.
